From a foundation on an empty plain — to Karabakh's first international hotel.
The project
Hilton Garden Inn Agdam was built by TABIA Group within Azerbaijan's First State Programme of return to the liberated territories. It is the group's second project in Agdam — and the region's first global-brand hotel.
Timeline
President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva laid the hotel's foundation on the Agdam plain.
The President reviewed the construction progress: three buildings rising next to the new terminal and the industrial park.
The President cut the ribbon of Hilton Garden Inn Agdam. Karabakh got its first international-brand hotel: 127 rooms and 120 jobs.
The hotel hosts business travellers, delegations and tourists — and collects its first five-star reviews.
